From the first days of life, your child moves, feels and communicates through the body. Every gesture, look or small movement is a form of discovery and relationship. There is no need to “do more”: just be there, observe and respond calmly and presence. What you can do every day- Skin-to-skin contact: keep it on your chest or belly, even if only for a few minutes. Body heat regulates heartbeat, temperature and breathing, and promotes the production of oxytocin, the hormone of well-being and bonding.- Gentle massage: use neutral oil or a few drops of natural cream. Touch relaxes, stimulates the nervous system and strengthens the emotional connection. The best time is after the bath or before bedtime, when the child is quiet.- Tummy time (belly down): place him for short moments (1-2 minutes, several times a day) on a safe and always supervised surface. This position strengthens the neck and shoulder muscles and prepares him for future movements. What to expect in the first few monthsThe first few days, reflexes prevail; around 2 months, greater head control; around 3 months he follows with his eyes, he smiles intentionally and begins to experience his strength. In short: moving is his way of getting to know himself, regulating emotions and building trust.
