Useful Information

In addition to regular contractions, there are some situations during pregnancy in which it is important to go immediately to the obstetric emergency room or contact the hospital: - Acute or recurrent pelvic or abdominal pain before the end of the pregnancy.- Rupture of the amniotic sac (i.e. loss of water): if the fluid is clear, it is good to have it checked; if it is green or brown (“dyed waters”), go to the hospital immediately, because it may be a sign of fetal distress. - Abundant vaginal discharge, at any time of pregnancy: a immediate control.- Reduction of the child's movements or changes in the way he moves. In general, 10-12 movements are considered normal over 24 hours.- Blood pressure equal to or greater than 140/90 mmHg .- Fever >38° that does not respond to paracetamol.- Feeling like you have to push, especially if you are not yet finished. In case of doubt, it is best to always contact the hospital or the reference office for a comparison.
