Useful Information

The Rotavirus vaccine protects infants against acute gastroenteritis, which can cause vomiting, fever and dehydration. It is an oral vaccine, not an injection: it is administered in the form of drops in the mouth that the child swallows easily. It has a sweet taste, is well tolerated and administered by healthcare personnel, often while the baby is in the parent's arms.

The vaccination cycle includes 2 or 3 doses, depending on the type of vaccine, at least 4 weeks apart. The first dose must be taken between the 6th and the 12th week of life, book your appointment at the vaccination center in time.
