The morphological ultrasound, between the 19th and 22nd week, evaluates in detail the organs of the fetus, the placenta, the amniotic fluid and the growth parameters. It is a fundamental examination to detect any anomalies early and confirm that development is proceeding well. As a rule, it is free of charge with a commitment and an M code according to national indications.
If special features emerge, targeted follow-ups or further investigations may be proposed. In many facilities it is possible to be accompanied and receive images.
