Useful Information

In the first few months, there is no need to weigh the newborn every day: once a week is sufficient, unless otherwise indicated by the pediatrician. You can do it in the office, pharmacy or at home with a baby scale, always at the same time and under the same conditions.

Weight fluctuations are normal. More than numbers, the trend over time counts and how the child grows and behaves. If you have doubts, ask your midwife or pediatrician to explain the growth curves: they are an observation tool, not a judgment.
