Useful Information

The preconception interview is a free visit that you can do at the office (or gynecological-obstetric clinics) to understand how your reproductive health is before trying to get pregnant. It is a space where we can talk about prevention, which is often overlooked because it does not give immediate obvious results. The meeting also serves to reconstruct your family history and identify any chronic or hereditary diseases, helping future parents to start with more awareness and serenity.

During the interview, the consultancy team guides future parents on some good practices useful even before conception: - stop smoking or reduce exposure to second-hand smoke- start supplementation with folic acid- verify recommended vaccinations- check weight, blood pressure and any chronic diseases- screen for sexually transmitted infections- review the medications you are taking to understand if they should be modulated. It is a precious opportunity to clarify doubts and build a personalized health path.
