Alternatively, you can book by calling the Registry Office of your municipality of residence.2. Prepare the necessary documentsBring with you: - a valid identity document of the accompanying parent; - the tax code or health card of the boy or girl; - a recent passport photo (in color, on a light background); - any birth certificate if the registration is recent; - 22.20€ for the issue (it may vary slightly depending on the municipality) .It is mandatory that the boy or girl be present at the appointment, even if infants: the law requires it for the issuance of the document.3. On the day of the appointment. The procedure takes a few minutes. If the minor is under 12 years old, the presence of only one parent is sufficient. The card is sent within about 6 days to the address of residence. The validity of the document is 3 years for children under 3 years old, 5 years from 3 to 18 years old. After the expiry date, it can be renewed with the same procedure.
