The application for compulsory maternity must be submitted before the end of the seventh month of pregnancy.
The application for compulsory maternity benefit must be submitted before the start of the leave, then by the end of the seventh month of pregnancy before the start of the eighth month, if you choose the classic option with 2 months of abstention before giving birth. If, on the other hand, you opt for flexibility (1 month before and 4 months later) or for a complete delay (5 months after delivery), the request must be accompanied by a medical certificate certifying the absence of risks for the mother and the child.
